Willie Nelson (at 57),  singer

Musician, singer, songwriter, author, poet, actor

Willie has written some of of the most popular country songs of all time. His prolific singing/songwriting career has spanned decades into his award winning career.

He had huge financial problems and tax issues (IRS) in the early 90’s which resulted in the auction of Nelson’s assets to clear his debt. Fortunately during those rough years he was married to Annie, who helped him navigate through treacherous times as he regained his health, mindset and success.

Willie married Martha Matthews in 1952 and they had 3 children.

Willie married Connie Koepke in 1971 and they had 2 daughters.

In 1988 Willie married Annie D’Angelo. Their first son was born when Willie was 55 and their second when he was 57.

Fun fact: After a few early years struggling in the music business, Willie quit to sell Bibles and vacuum cleaners door-to-door.
